WHAT COULD A NUTRITION COUNSELING SESSION LOOK LIKE?
Science-based: We may talk about weight, lab results and your health history. As a dietitian-client team, we will use science and clinical information to assess progress and determine appropriate solutions.
Personalized: Nutrition counseling is mostly about finding an effective nutrition approach that you feel comfortable with. During nutrition counseling sessions, you will be able to use my formal training (my credentials) and 6 years’ experience as the scaffolding to build a healthier lifestyle that fits in your everyday life.
Practical: Do you just want a meal plan in order to eliminate the guess work? Do you wish to make small changes gradually? Are there foods that are particularly important to you? What has worked and hasn’t worked in the past? What strategies would help you to replace old habits with healthier ones? These are just a few of the questions that we can ask ourselves to create your new sustainable dietary habits.
Convenient: All sessions are through online video or audio calls based on your preference. They fit into your schedule with the option of booking appointments on Saturdays or during the week for early morning, lunch time and evening sessions. If desired, you have the option to share your food journal securely with me.
